Rumours persist of a tense encounter between Princess Diana and Queen Camilla within its walls, adding a layer of intriguing lore to its already considerable pedigree. The property, a Grade II listed building, features ten bedrooms, a pool, tennis court, and expansive walled gardens designed by celebratedlandscape architects Arabella Lennox-Boyd and Mary Keen.
Meanwhile, Jemima Goldsmith’s former artist studio, Britannia Studios, is available for £6.5 million (approximately $8.7 million). Initially purchased in 1999 during her marriage to Imran Khan, the property – a converted artist space – has undergone significant transformation and now offers a more contemporary aesthetic with an open-plan kitchen and living area. “After nearly 30 years here, my kids have moved out and I’ve finally decided to move,” Goldsmith told the Daily Mail, hinting at a desire for a fresh start. Britannia Studios, located just a few miles from central London, represents a significant departure from the grandeur of Ormeley Lodge, yet retains a certain understated elegance. The residence includes five bedrooms, a rooftop terrace, and cleverly integrated bookshelves, showcasing a blend of classic design and modern functionality.
