West Elm Partners with Pierce & Ward for Expansive New Furniture Collection

West Elm has teamed up with LA and New York-based interior design studio Pierce & Ward for a second collaboration, expanding beyond their successful initial collection from earlier this year. The new line features a wider range of furniture and accessories, reflecting the studio’s signature blend of vintage, folk art, and high-low design sensibilities.

Expanding on a Successful Partnership

Founded in Nashville in 2012 by Emily Ward and Louisa Pierce, Pierce & Ward has cultivated a portfolio of notable clients, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lopez. As Emily Ward explains, ‘this collection allowed us to explore new ideas… we expanded into new categories and continued exploring pattern, layering and heirloom-inspired details to create pieces that feel collected and lasting.’

The collection showcases earthy tones, rich woods, and luxurious upholstery, spanning from upholstered furniture to tableware and textiles. Standout pieces include a bold, folk-influenced mirror, a wavy drinks table with considered details, a petite metal table lamp, and a charming rooster print cushion cover. Larger furniture pieces evoke Scandinavian mid-century and Art Deco influences, such as a bentwood sofa and an armchair with arched burl arms.
